Four months of photos in 30 seconds or less...

Wilson's Promitory National Park, our hiking path
The first and second nights we slept in tents directly on the beach. It was still slightly chilly at nights, but the stars were absolutely amazing (besides being unfamiliar, which is kinda creepy, honestly), and in the waves are small phosphoresent seaweeds that glow in the dark. A literally magical experince.
Southpoint, Wilson's Prom
These two mates hiked with us, Mike & Guy. Not too long after this photo Mike fell into the water and was soaked to the bone until we got to camp at Roaring Meg and he could dry his clothes over the gas stove (fires are banned for safety reasons.)
South Southpoint, Wilson's Prom
Again in the same area, that little guy is me! In this picture I am the furthest person south on mainland Australia.
Sealers Cove, Wilson's Prom
While we didn't stay on this particular beach, it was the first we got to and therefore was the one I took a picture of. The others were equally paradise-like.
Javanese Gamelan Concert
I look so terribly conceited in this picture, but I like in because I look like I'm soloing, which I certainly not (especially on that instrument.) But, if absolutely nothign else, it also looks like I am having a good time sitting there, which was unquestioningly true.
Seven Melbournisms & A Fantasy
... was the title of the piece for this "Electric Gamelan Degung", my piece for the composers concert at the end of the semester. The titles, each a 'snapshot' of unique things about Melbourne, were titled: (1) Skylines of Clouds, (2) Lousy Public Transport, (3) Anzac Biscuits, (4) Bourke St. Mall, (5) The Pony, (6) Trees Where Cars Should Be, & (7) Music Scene.
Clippings From MX, the local trash free Metropolitan 'tabloid' (like Red Streak in Chicago)
"Vent Your Spleen" is exactly what it looks like. If you have a mild complaint, you type a small text messege to the paper, and they might publish it. It was particularly appropriate that they happened to print Bruce's comment about whinging about the trains right before my messege. I don't know Jason, but it was awesome that they put his comment in, and even more awesome that they printed my retort. You may also notice the comment about cricket. Crazy Aussies.
